Additive interaction in the presence of a mismeasured outcome.

چکیده
Misclassification and measurement error are very common in studies of effects of exposures and are often ignored. The problem of exposure misclassification for interaction measures in the context of both multiplicative interaction (1–4) and additive interaction (5) has been discussed previously. Other investigators have discussed problems of outcome misclassification for a single exposure (6, 7). However, little is known about how interaction measures perform when the outcome is misclassified. In the present letter, we consider additive interactions with a mismeasured outcome. All the proofs are given in Web Appendix 1, available at http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/. Let X1 and X2 denote 2 binary exposures and let D denote a binary outcome. Let px1x2 1⁄4 PðD 1⁄4 1jX1 1⁄4 x1;X2 1⁄4 x2Þ. The measure of interaction for risks on the linear additive scale is as follows:

Analysis of Genotype × Environment Interaction for Seed Yield in Winter Rapeseed Cultivars and Lines Using Multivariate Method of Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction
Evaluation of the different genotypes under different environmental conditions helps plant breeders in detecting stable and high-yielding genotypes. In this regard, 13 winter rapeseed cultivars and lines were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with three replications in six experimental field stations of cold and temperate regions of Iran (Isfahan, Hamedan, Karaj, Kermanshah, Khoy ...
متن کاملDrug Release Studies of Naproxen Agglomerates Produced by the Antisolvent Approach in the Presence of Hydroxypropyl Cellulose
In this study, the effect of recrystallization of naproxen in the presence of hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) on the release rate of drug was investigated. Crystals were generated by the anti-solvent approach using the HPC solution in water as the anti-solvent. The samples were subjected to various physicochemical evaluations such as crystal size, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier tran...
متن کاملAnalysis of the epistatic and QTL×environments interaction effects of plant height in maize (Zea mays L.)
A genetic map containing 103 microsatellite loci and 200 F2 plants derived from the cross R15 × Ye478 were used for mapping of quantitative trait loci (QTL) in maize (Zea mays L.). QTLs were characterized in a population of 200 F2:4 lines, derived from selfing the F2 plants, and were evaluated with two replications in two environments. QTL mapping analysis of plant height was performed by using...

Presence of genotype × environment interaction necessitates evaluation of genotypes in a wide range of environments to find desirable genotypes. This study was carried out to determine the stability and adaptability of grain yield of 17 chickpea genotypes, in RCBD with four replications at Kermanshah, Lorestan, Ilam, Gachsaran and Gorgan Research Stations during two seasons (2003-2004). The g...
